Some
individuals are able to maintain their own home or apartment with
varying levels of guidance and support from staff. Support and
training promote individual choices, maximum independence, and
safety, as determined by both the Individual Planning Team and the
needs and personal preferences of the individual. People can lease
apartments or homes in the community. We will also try to help you
to buy your own home, if you want to. You can choose to live by
yourself or have a roommate. You may also help decide which staff
will work with you. In Lewistown we own a six-unit apartment complex
where you can live in one of the apartments in close proximity to
your friends, have access to on-site supervision and personal
security, if needed, but still maintain your privacy. We currently
support 30 people living in their own apartments or homes in the
communities
of Red Lodge, Hardin, Billings and Lewistown.
